The Country Dance & Song Society of Pittsburgh Celebrates 100 Years!<\/h1>\n

Country dancing in Pittsburgh was started formally 100 years ago when Cecil Sharp visited here on his 1915 US tour. \u00a0Help celebrate the many dances supported by the Country Dance and Song Society in our Pittsburgh region.<\/div>\n

\u00a0Friday, December 11<\/strong> at the Swisshelm Park Community Center, 1050 Windermere Drive
\n5:45 \u2013 7 pm\u00a0\u00a0 Family Dance<\/strong> with music by John Sarney and Friends
\n$5\/person or $10\/family
\n7 \u2013 8 pm \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Potluck dinner<\/strong> (families encouraged to stay for no extra
\ncharge for the contra)
\n8 \u2013 11 pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Contra Dance<\/strong> with music by Coracree & caller Cindy Harris
\n$10\/person, $7\/students.\u00a0 Beginner session at 7:30.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday, December 12<\/strong> at the Friends Meeting House
\n5:30 \u2013 6:45 \u00a0\u00a0Potluck dinner<\/strong>
\n6:45 \u2013 7:15 \u00a0\u00a0\u201c100 Years of CDSSP\u201d<\/strong> illustrated talk by Allison Thompson
